Teutopolis school board members acted on several personnel matters and earmarked funding for improvements to the track at Monday night's meeting.

The Board voted to utilize health and life safety funds to pay for paving work on the track located at Teutopolis Junior High School.

As far as personnel matters, the Board approved resignations from Theresa Thies as music director for the high school drama, Kendall Heuerman as a grade school lunchroom aide, and Bob Weaver as high school custodian.  Weaver is retiring; his resignation is effective this Friday.

The Board hired Whitney Koebele as high school assistant volleyball coach, Natasha Rauch as a half-time first grade teacher to provide additional instructional help as approved at a recent special Board meeting, and Amanda Hazlett as a grade school lunchroom aide.  Deanna Worman was approved as a volunteer golf coach.

Board members approved a tentative budget for the coming fiscal year, and accepted a low bid for insurance renewal that shows an increase of just under $5,000 over last year's rates, a 4.62% increase.
