Abby Hagen, Lauren Siemer Winners at County Fair Talent Show

Abby Hagen of Watson and Lauren Siemer of Teutopolis were the top winners at the Effingham County Fair Talent Search Saturday night.

Abby Hagen won the Senior Division with a vocal performance of "I Dreamed a Dream" from "Les Miserables", while Lauren Siemer won the Junior Division with a vocal performance accompanying herself on keyboard of "My Heart Will Go On" from "Titanic".

Dani Ashbaugh of Watson took second place honors in the Senior Division with a vocal performance of Martina McBride's "My Baby Loves Me" while seven-year-old Laney Gossett of Watson finished second in the Junior Division with a performance of Taylor Swift's "We Are Never Getting Back Together".

Other Senior Division performers were Kara Bourgeois of Effingham, Jake Bushur of Sigel, Shania Patton of Altamont, Rachel Probst of Effingham, Christian Stuckemeyer of Altamont, Jodi Thoele of Dieterich, Andrew and Kaylynn Moeller of Effingham, Jennifer Garland and Travis Fulk of Effingham, and Elizabeth Brackney of Effingham.

Other Junior Division performers were Christian Deters and Joseph Esker of Teutopolis, Violet Wendling of Altamont, Kalen Reardon of Altamont, Kiana Griggs of Altamont, Elizabeth Will, Nichole Deters and Mikayla Blankenship of Effingham, Abby Cothran of Teutopolis, Sophie Deters of Effingham, and America Patton of Altamont.

The evening also featured performances by last year's division winners, Kelsey Fulk from the Senior Division and Hayden Rensner of the Junior Division, and a knockout performance by the a cappella vocal group "Blend" from Marion.
