A pursuit Thursday night that began in Missouri and ended in Illinois resulted in two different vehicle crashes.

State police say 47-year-old Sherry Jane Nolan of Scott City, Missouri was fleeing from Missouri officers who had tried to stop her near Sikeston, Missouri just before 9:30pm Thursday.  Police ended their pursuit but Nolan continued north on I-57 where her vehicle crashed into a vehicle driven by 64-year-old Gerald Miler of Port Orange, Florida.

Nolan continued on her way, though, for another minute before she rear-ended a vehicle driven by 49-year-old Keith Mayer of House Spring, Missouri and then spun into the center median.

Nolan was taken into custody and arrested on counts of aggravated DUI and possession of cannabis, along with charges pending from State Police, Union County, Pulaski County and from Missouri.

Nolan suffered minor injuries and was taken for treatment.  Neither Miller, the person in the first crash, nor Mayer, the person in the second crash, were reported as injured.
