Effingham County Officials in Washington On Behalf of Drug Court, Mental Health Court

Effingham County court officials are in Washington, DC this week at the National Association of Drug Court Professions Training Conference.

Effingham County States Attorney Bryan Kibler, one of the local officials in Washington, took part in a rally Tuesday morning on Capitol Hill regarding funding for Veterans Courts and Mental Health Courts.  Efforts are underway locally to implement both courts in Effingham County.

Celebrities who support Drug Court are among those also in Washington this week.  Kibler is seen with actor Matthew Perry, longtime star of the sitcom "Friends" and a recovering addict.
