Brownstown school board members set fees for the coming year, including elementary $95, junior high and senior high $120, drivers education $50, Ag Mechanics $15, and Ag I and Ag II $7.

The Board accepted resignations from Kelsey Newcomb as 5th grade teacher, Martin Son as elementary principal, and Kara LaMar as 1:1 Teacher Aide. These people were hired for the coming school year: Olivia Langham as 6th grade teacher, Lucas Watson as 5th grade teacher, Katlyn Evans as high school Science teacher, and Holly Grames as sub school bus driver. Jozsef Morrison, Kendal Merkley and Trey Gannon were hired as summer janitorial help.

The Brownstown Board renewed the child nutrition, Illinois Free Lunch and Breakfast, and Food Distribution programs, a contract with Stacy Gibson for speech services, Barker Excavating to complete site work on the solar site, purchase of interactive boards, Richey Painting to paint the junior/senior high school gym, and correspondence credits to be used toward graduation requirements.
