Cowden-Herrick School Board Approves Superintendent Contract Extension

Cowden-Herrick school board members approved a senior class trip to Gatlinburg in May at this month's meeting. The Board also approved a junior and senior honor roll trip to a Cardinals baseball game on April 19.

The Board awarded the mowing bid to Riverfront Mowing, and approved the school calendar for the coming school year, beginning August 16, 2023 and ending May 20, 2024.

Board members awarded asphalt sealing work district-wide to Effingham Asphalt, and approved the purchase of Nevco scoreboards for the junior high school gym.

The Board also approved an intergovernmental agreement with the Cumberland school district for psychologist services, and also approved a three-year contract extension for Superindendent Seth Schuler.
