Fire Results in Need for Help for Area Resident

Wheeler resident Sara Ordner could use some help, following a fire that damaged her mobile home.

The fire happened Saturday afternoon when a warming unit caught a shed on fire. The fire spread first to Ordner's car, then to her mobile home. While the mobile home is still standing, there was major damage to the structure. Mike Elliott, who pastors the Christian Church in Wheeler, said that what the fire and smoke didn't damage, the water used to put out the blaze did. The situation was made worse when the fire rekindled Saturday night, resulting in additional damage.

Elliott has established an account on Ordner's behalf at Dieterich Bank. The account is "Benefit for Sara Ordner". Any cash contributions would be appreciated. Elliott said that contributions can be left at any Dieterich Bank location in this area.
