The 2013 Summer Free Lunch for Kids begins Monday, June 3.

The program has been available the past few summers to make activities and free lunch available to any child ages 18 and younger.  The program will be open every weekday through July 19 from 11am to 1pm.

The program will be offered in Effingham at West Side School on West Fayette in the cafeteria and in Edgewood at the Danks Community Center.  There are no income guidelines.  Children eight and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

There will be activities, cooking classes, educational programming and crafts along with the meals.

For more information, phone Kathy Nava-Sifuentes with Unit 40 schools at 540-1413 or Sister Carol with Catholic Charities at 857-1458.
