Two area men were killed in a crash in Wyoming on Sunday morning.

Wyoming State Police report a commercial truck driven by 39-year-old Keith R. Koehler II of St. Peter was headed east on Interstate 80 when the vehicle drifted off the left side of the road. Police say Koehler apparently overcorrected to the right and re-entered the roadway. The truck overturned, exited the road, and traveled down an embankment.

Police report that as the truck continued down the embankment, the cab of the vehicle began to pack with snow, trapping Koehler and a passenger, 40-year-old Tyler U. Judd of Farina in the cab. Due to the depth of the embankment and the darkness, the vehicle was not immediately located.

Both Koehler and Judd were pronounced dead at the scene.
