Effingham Firefighter Applicants Being Sought

If you've ever considered being a firefighter, this might be the time.

Effingham Fire Chief Brant Yochum said the Effingham department is conducting a hiring process to place individuals on their two-year hiring list.

Applications are available at Effingham City Hall at 201 East Jefferson Avenue. Completed applications are due back by August 8 at 11am.
