Windsor school board members have finalized a three-year contract agreement with district teachers.

The average annual increases will be 5.6%, 5.5%, and 5.5%. The contract begins with the coming school year.

The Board also heard a presentation on a joint booster club supporting programs in both the Windsor and Stewardson-Strasburg school district athletic programs. The two districts cooperate in sports. Initial work will include drafting by-laws and obtaining 501(c)3 status.

Board members awarded insurance coverage at a 21% premium increase and agreed to take sealed bids on a 1997 model Driver's Ed vehicle.

In personnel moves, the Windsor board accepted resignations from elementary school Special Education teacher Jo Grgurich, junior-senior high school Math teacher Jennifer Wudtke, and sixth grade teacher Jackie Sierra. The Board agreed to hire elementary school Special Education teacher Valerie Corrie, elementary school Student Council advisor Whitney Babbs, and FFA Advisor Hallie Horsman. Kelly Barringer was approved as a volunteer part-time Agriculture teacher.
