Early voting in Illinois continues through Monday.

Early voting allows registered voters to cast their ballots prior to Election Day by voting in at the office of the County Clerk. Early voters must be registered to vote from their current address. If updates need to be made to your voter registration, contact the County Clerk's office. In Effingham County, that number is 217-342-6535.

Early voting for the upcoming General Primary Election is available from 8am to 4pm weekdays. The County Clerk's office will also have extended voting hours this Saturday from 8am to noon.

On Election Day, Tuesday in-person voting will be available at your polling place from 6am to 7pm.
