County Fair the Topic at Noon Rotary

Effingham County Fair Board President Phil Hartke was the guest speaker at the June 22 meeting of Effingham Noon Rotary.

Hartke discussed the upcoming performance by country singing star Scotty McCreery at the fair, which is to run July 30-August 6 at Altamont. He also shared about a new playground, which is hoped to be completed in time for this year's fair.

Greg Sapp served as Rotary weekly program chairman.
