St. Elmo School Board Votes on Parking Lot

St. Elmo school board members have voted to approve a contract with Harre Construction for additional high school parking lot.

The Board this week also approved junior high and high school handbook changes, approved the student fee schedule for the coming school year, agreed to seek bids on milk, bread and fuel, and approved commercial insurance renewal.

The St. Elmo board approved salaries for the bookkeeper and maintenance supervisor for the coming school year, accepted the resignation of Amy Calhoun as an elementary teacher, approved Faith Stallard as volunteer sixth grade volleyball coach, and employed Amy Barnes as district bookkeeper.

Board members approved memoranda of understanding with the St. Elmo Education Support Professionals, appointed Rae Lynn Koehler as district head cook, employed Dylan Dilley as an elementary teacher, accepted the resignation of Michael Pasley as 8th grade basketball coach, and accepted the resignation of Sam Plum as 5th, 6th and 7th grade basketball coach.
