Beecher City School Board Acts on Personnel, Fees for the Coming Year

Beecher City school board memberrs Monday acted on several personnel items.

The Board approved the retirement of non-certified staff member Dawn Doty; and approved the employment of Vanessa Wright as school counselor, Jenna Rich as LBS1 teacher; Joan Peterson as Grades 6-8 Math teacher; Stephanie McGuire as junior high Language Arts teacher; and Wendy White as Life Science teacher. Board members also rehired contractual employees including Susan Seiler as speech pathologist and Jenna Tedrick as social worker. All of those moves were for the coming school year. The Board also approved the employment of coaches and sponsors for the coming school year. Board members also approved Kristina Lilly as grade school secretary.

Board members approved the purchase of promethean panels for classrooms; voted to place the amended fiscal year budget on display for public review; approved maintenance projects as presented; and approved Aaron Summers as the Board's representative to the Eastern Illinois Area Special Education Board for the coming school year. School fees were also approved for the coming school year.
