Cumberland school board members have reinstated extracurricular admission fees in the next school year. Admission fees will be charged at the 2022 Central Illinois All-Star Basketball Game played at Cumberland, as well as at any conference and state postseason contests.

Cumberland board members set the date for high school graduation as May 15. The Board also awarded completion of underground tile and drainage work on the west side of the unit office, the completion of drainage work on the west side of the track, completion of tile and storm sewer work on the west side of the track, and the completion of drainage work on the south side of the greenhouse, all to A&R Mechanical for close to $75,000.

The Cumberland board employed Monica Carl as a PE and Health teacher; accepted the resignation of Norene Ault effective immediately; accepted the irrevocable letter of retirement from Karen Stults and from George Hensley effective at the conclusion of the 2025-2026 school year; and agreed to post the open job of middle school teacher and of high school girls track coach.
