Two COVID-Related Deaths in Effingham County

The Effingham County Health Department reported the COVID-related deaths of two individuals, one in their 60s, and one in their 90s. Both individuals were unvaccinated.

The total number of confirmed COVID-related deaths in Effingham County now stands at 109.

The Health Department also reported 65 new cases of COVID have been reported from Friday through Sunday.

The Shelby County Health Department has reported 135 individuals have tested positive for COVID-19 between November 29 and December 5. Three COVID-related deaths were reported during the period, one man in his 60s, one in his 70s, and one in his 80s. 

Fayette County Health Department reported 95 new COVID-19 cases between November 29 and December 5. Two more COVID-19 related deaths occurred in the county during that period.
