Salvation Army of Effingham County has begun its 2021 Bellringer Campaign as of today (WED).

Bellringers will be stationed at Rural King, Kirby Foods, Niemerg's Steak House and Sav a Lot Foods today, and they will add both entrances to Walmart as of this Friday. The hours for bellringing will be from 10am to noon, noon to 2pm, 2 to 4pm, and 4 to 6pm each Friday and Saturday through Christmas Eve.

Salvation Army fills the gap in emergency situations, often with gas, family needs, utilities and school supplies.

Bellringers are still needed to staff some shifts at the locations. If you would like to help, phone Salvation Army at 217-342-5434. The office is open each Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9am to noon. Phone to leave a message during other hours.
