Windsor school board members Wednesday seated Karen Peiffer as she was elected earlier this month.  Joe Glasscock and Vince Welch, who were re-elected, were also sworn in to new terms, as was Nick Hendrickson who was elected to fill the final two years of an unexpired term on the Board.

The Windsor board chose Kurt Stremming as president, Matthew Bennett as vice-president and George Glasscock as secretary.

In regular business, the Windsor board agreed to purchase a one-year-old bus and trade in another unit; reviewed the district's fund raiser policy and took no action; and agreed to get an estimate on the cost of putting in a temporary wall in the Home Ec classroom due to an increase in enrollment.  The Windsor board also renewed its sports co-op with the Shelbyville district on girls high school basketball.  Both Windsor and Stewardson-Strasburg provide girls to the Shelbyville team.  Board members also met in closed session on negotiations, but took no action.
