State Rep. Adam Niemerg (R-Dieterich) sponsored House Resolution 528 Wednesday in the Illinois House of Representatives to honor the life of Elizabeth Ann Weidner of Dieterich. Elizabeth passed away September 29th after nearly six years batting stage 4 cancer.

“Elizabeth’s community involvement and her fight to help everyone battling childhood cancer is such an inspiration and example for all of us to try to emulate,” said Rep. Niemerg. “It would take two days of session to read all of her accomplishments and efforts to help others and be a shining role model for how to fight with dignity, beauty, and determination.”
