Neoga school board members have acted on several agreements on sharing personnel with the Stewardson-Strasburg School District.  The option of sharing personnel has been discussed by the two districts for the past several months.

The Neoga board approved intergovernmental agreements for the services of a School Social Worker, for a high school teacher in Business, for a high school teacher in Agriculture, for a high school teacher in Industrial Technology, and for the services of an Early Childhood program.  The Board tabled an agreement for services of a school psychologist.

Assistant Regional School Superintendent Michelle Lindenmeyer was at the Neoga meeting.  Lindenmeyer will succeed the retiring Steven Harsy as Stew-Stras superintendent this summer.

Neoga board members also awarded a bid to Hoelscher Concrete for $99,722 to pour a bus turnaround at the Neoga Elementary School with any additional work to be handled by school district personnel.  The Board also approved an agreement with Jay Ballard for Ballard's retirement at the end of the school year, and accepted the request of a Neoga student currently attending the Bridges alternative education program to graduate early.

There was also discussion on refinishing the Neoga High School gym floor.  The janitorial staff will be moving classrooms instead of undertaking large projects this year.
