Teutopolis school board members Monday re-hired district administrators for next school year and gave Superintendent Bill Fritcher a three-year contract.

The financial terms for the administrators for the coming school year had been settled earlier this year, including a voluntary cut by the administrators as a cost-cutting move.

The Board acted on several personnel moves, accepting resignations from Gordon Zuber as all and spring play director, Jessica Heiden as junior high play co-director, Amanda Probst as high school head volleyball coach and 8th grade volleyball coach, Jessica Heiden as high school JV volleyball coach and junior high track coach, and Jann Rhodes as high school Bridge coach.  The Board then hired Jessica Heiden as high school head volleyball coach and as 8th grade volleyball coach.  Tiffany Hostettler was approved as a volunteer coach at the high school, and the Board agreed to advertise for a high school fall and spring play director and a high school assistant volleyball coach.

The Board approved end-of-year dates including high school graduation on May 12 at 2:30pm and 8th grade promotion on May 16 at 7:30pm and set May 17 as the last day for students with a Teachers Institute on May 20.

The Board approved an increase of the driver's education fee to $250, but the increase will be effective for the new school year; it will not be in effect for this summer's classes.

Teutopolis board members also discussed the formation of a School Board Committee regarding facility usage to determine the best use of district buildings and grounds, and set a special Board meeting for April 30 at 7pm.
