Windsor school board members approved the district's Return to Learn policy, but also approved a resolution to send to the governor concerning COVID-19 mitigation measures.

The return to learn policy conforms to the CDC requirement to wear masks on school buses, and recommends that those students who are not vaccinated to wear masks, but does not require them.

The resolution to the governor requests that local school districts have control over the mitigation measures.

Windsor board members awarded bids for air conditioning in the kitchens and cafeterias in both the elementary building and the junior/senior high school building.

In personnel moves, the Windsor board hired Rachel Miller as an elementary school classroom aide, hired Melissa Murphy as a fulltime substitute teacher, and hired Tom Young as a part-time custodian. The Board also accepted Bailey Leasher's resignation as assistant junior high softball coach.
