South Central Board Approve Sports Co-Op w/St. Peter Lutheran School

South Central school board members have approved a cooperative agreement with St. Peter Lutheran School to allow St. Peter students to participate in middle school girls softball and middle school boys baseball for the coming two school years. 

The Board approved the Return to Learn plan for the coming school year. District officials said they would work with local health departments in Marion and Fayette counties in conjunction with Illinois Department of Public Health and Illinois State Board of Education guidelines as the school year progresses. 

Board members accepted a letter of resignation from Lucretia Schroeder as a support staff member, hired Baylee Black as a certified teacher at the middle school, approved a leave for John Stephenson, approved Travis Mulvaney as head middle school baseball coach, and approved Ean Fox as a volunteer assistant boys basketball coach.
