Work is underway to rehabilitate Interstate 70 between Greenup and Casey.

The project involves removing the surface coat of the roadway, roughing up the original
concrete pavement and then placing a new bituminous surface.

The project will be accomplished in two stages, with the passing lanes being done first.

The work is to be substantially completed by November 15.  All entrance and exit ramps at
both the Greenup and Casey interchanges will remain open to traffic at all times.

Contact Glen Bushur or Bob Utz at the Effingham IDOT office at 342-3951 for more information.
