Two COVID-Related Deaths in County This Week

Two COVID-related deaths have been reported in Effingham County during the past week.

The Effingham County Health Department reports the deaths were those of a man in his 70s and the other was a woman in her 80s. There were five new positive cases of Coronavirus Disease in the past week.

A mention that the Health Department will have a first and second dose Moderna Clinic on Thursday, July 8. The clinic will be from 10am to noon for those 18 and older. Second doses are for those who had their first dose on or before June 10. Appointments can be booked at www.effcohealth.org.
