The North Clay school board acted on several personnel items at this week's meeting.

The Board accepted the resignation of Jade Huber as an elementary teacher, hired Sarah Newby and Carrie Kuhl as freshman class sponsors, hired Jerin Romack as junior class sponsor, accepted the resignation of Stacey Smith as sophomore class sponsor, and authorized the Administration to hire certified and non-certified personnel as needed. Board members also hired Gladys Guinabo as high school Science teacher, hired Amy Duckworth as special education coordinator, hired Mitchell Martin as girls 7th grade basketball coach, and set the salary for Superintendent Travis Wyatt for the coming two school years.

Board members heard that work is underway for the district's online registration for the coming school year, approved an intergovernmental agreement with the Flora Public Library, and tabled a Back to School Plan for the coming school year.
