One Person Injured in Crash at Teutopolis-Elliotstown Blacktop

A two-vehicle collision on the Teutopolis-Elliotstown Blacktop Wednesday morning resulted in injuries to one of the drivers.

The crash happened just after 7:30am, just south of Illinois Route 33.

Illinois State Police reported a southbound car driven by 22-year-old Lauren Lustig of Teutopolis was stopped at the highway, then attempted to turn left onto the highway and was struck by a westbound minivan driven by 36-year-old Jennifer Kunzeman of Newton.

Kunzeman was injured and was transported by ambulance for treatment. 

Lustig was cited for failure to yield.
