A 25-year-old Salem man was injured in a single-vehicle crash Friday night at 9:13 in the 600 block of East Chestnut Street in Louisville.

State Police say Brock Metcalf was traveling westbound when he left the north side of the road and traveled through several yards before striking a concrete post, an embankment of a driveway, a power line guy wire, and then a tree.

Metcalf was transported by ambulance to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

State Police ticketed Metcalf for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license revoked, transportation of open alcohol by the driver and improper lane usage.
