City to Start Flushing South Side Fire Hydrants

The City of Effingham Public Works Department will be flushing fire hydrants starting Monday, April 12th, weather permitting.

The Water Division crews will begin flushing on the SOUTH side of Fayette Ave.

Water may be discolored due to the flushing of Fire Hydrants.

Please check water before doing any laundry. Also, please flush your faucets until you see no discoloration or sedimentation.
