One Person Injured in Crash on Keller Drive

One person was injured in a crash on Keller Drive late Monday morning.

City police say a vehicle driven by 47-year-old Dawn Cox of Louisville turned right from the left lane and was struck by a vehicle in the right lane driven by 48-year-old Joseph Boyt of Effingham.  Boyt was injured and was taken to St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment.

The crash occurred at 11:25am at the intersection with Midtown Boulevard, the roadway that leads into Jimmy John's, National Bank, New Health Chiropractic and the Effingham Carle offices.

Two child passengers in Boyt's vehicle were not injured.  City police cited Cox for improper lane usage.
