Former Rep. Eddy Named to State Board of Education

Former Illinois St. Rep. Roger Eddy has been named to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Eddy is currently the Interim President of Lincoln Trail College in Robinson. Prior to his current role, he was the Executive Director of the Illinois Association of School Boards and the Superintendent of Schools at Hutsonville. 

The 62-year-old Eddy served nine years in the Illinois General Assembly as 109th District State Representative, representing a portion of Effingham County.

Eddy received his Bachelor of Science in Education from Northern Illinois University and his Master of Science and Specialist in Education from Eastern Illinois University.
