One person was injured when two vehicles collided in Teutopolis on Monday evening.

The crash happened just after 6pm on Main Street at Race Street. Effingham County sheriff's deputies report vehicles driven by 36-year-old Charles B. Weber and 67-year-old Charles Semple, both of Teutopolis, were both headed eastbound when the Weber vehicle rear-ended the Semple vehicle.

Weber was injured and was transported to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment.

Weber was cited for DUI and for failure to reduce speed to avoid the crash.
