Two semis collided in Cumberland County Sunday afternoon, closing I-70 for a time.

The crash happened about 2:20pm in the westbound lanes, about five miles east of Greenup. Illinois State Police report a semi driven by 31-year-old Floyd Black III of Little Elm, Texas was westbound when it traveled off onto the shoulder and struck a stopped rig driven by 49-year-old Garry Gabbard, Jr. of Hamilton, Ohio. The impact caused the trailer of Black's rig to disconnect and overturn in the left westbound lane.

All lanes were reopened at about 5pm.

Black was injured and was taken for treatment of what were termed non life threatening injuries.

Black was cited for improper lane usage and failure to wear a seat belt.
