29 New Positive COVID Cases in County Thursday

The Effingham County Health Department Thursday announced 29 new positive test results for COVID-19. 

Here's the breakdown of cases:

MALE: one less than one year old, two less than 10 years old, three in their teens, one in his 20s, one in his 30s, and four in their 50s

FEMALE: two less than 10 years old, three in their teens, one in her 20s, one in her 30s, five in their 40s, one in her 50s, three in their 60s, and one in her 80s.

Illinois Region 6 test positivity seven-day rolling average was 9.5% through January 4, and Effingham County came in at 15.5% for the same period.
