South Central Board Releases Aides

South Central school board members Wednesday voted to release six teacher aides before the next school year.

Those released effective at the end of the current school year are Connie Githinji, Wendy Reid, Pam Parrish, Kathy Hall, Nancy Ritter and Mary Jo Jahraus.

Board members also accepted the resignation of Cindy Garrett as 5th and 6th grade cheer coach; accepted a letter of retirement from Paul Veteto as of the end of the school year; and approved a leave of absence for Kelly Lotz.

The South Central board also agreed to seek bids on district insurance coverage; amended this year's school calendar to accommodate a snow day; and approved the calendar for the coming school year.
