Two Confirmed COVID-19 Related Deaths in Effingham County

The Illinois Department of Public Health reported two confirmed deaths of Effingham County residents with COVID-19.
The IDPH reports the deaths were those of a male in his 70s and a male in his 80s.
The deaths were two of 25 confirmed deaths in the state on Saturday.
The two Effingham County deaths bring the county total to three. There was one death of a man early in the pandemic. That death has been disputed by some as having been from Effingham County as the man had also been living in Cook County.
There have now been 8,588 deaths in Illinois related to Coronavirus Disease.
