Testimony concluded Friday in the Fayette County murder trial of David Bright; now the case is in the hands of the jury.

(DAVID BRIGHT)

The 71-year-old Bright is charged in the death of James Skinner of rural Brownstown in September of 2017.

Jury instructions were addressed, then closing arguments were shared by attorneys for both sides before the jury received the case.

Bright, a Mulberry Grove man, is accused of striking Skinner in the head, resulting in his death. If found guilty, Bright could receive up to life in prison.
