One person was injured when a semi and a truck collided in Clark County Wednesday morning.

Illinois State Police report the crash occurred at 11:17am on Illinois 49. The semi driver, 36-year-old Adam Shoaff of Casey, was attempting a right turn off the highway. The truck driver, 56-year-old Roy Snively of Charleston, failed to notice the semi had slowed for the turn. Snively swerved right to avoid Shoaff, but collided with the turning semi.

The truck continued across the road and struck an embankment, rolling over on its top.

Snively was transported by ambulance for treatment. Shoaff was not injured.

Snively was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid the crash.
