There was no action by the Charleston school board Wednesday to change plans to begin in-classroom instruction on November 2.

The Board heard from Charleston Superintendent Todd Vilardo about contacts from the public with concerns as to the start of in-person instruction. In the meantime, remote learning has been the rule in the Charleston district.

Wednesday night's meeting lasted more than three and a half hours.
