In the wake of violence at schools across the nation, the Windsor school board is looking at ways to make their buildings safe.

The Board is considering cameras in district buildings and perhaps ways to control access to the buildings.  Ways to fund the improvements were also considered, such as life safety funds or grants.

The Board heard nothing on a meeting with Stewardson-Strasburg school district officials, because no meeting was held.  The Stew-Stras board had directed a meeting be held between superintendents, principals and athletic directors of both districts to resolve remaining issues now that the districts have begun cooperating in certain sports with more to come next school year.

Windsor board members accepted two resignations, one from Leslie Baker as Class of 2018 sponsor and the other from Delrae Bridges as Early Childhood and Special Education teacher.  The Board also tabled action on bus bids since the public notice seeking bids was not published early enough.
