The murder trial of Christopher Glass of Mason has again been postponed.

The 36-year-old Glass is charged with the shooting death of Kimberly Mattingly in April.

Effingham County Public Defender Scott Schmidt said in court Thursday that he is making progress in preparing Glass' defense, but said the volume of information, including the amount of video from interviews with his client by police, is taking a lot of time.

Judge Amanda Ade-Harlow granted a continuance in the case. Glass is now set to go to trial on October 26, with a final pre-trial hearing set for October 15. He remains in custody in Effingham County Jail under $5 million bond.
