A Shobonier man was injured in a crash involving a semi and a car in White County.

The crash happened Monday afternoon on I-64 near the Illinois/Indiana border.

Illinois State Police report the Shobonier man, Kenneth Helton, was headed east in the right lane when his semi veered off onto the right shoulder and then came back onto the roadway and across both eastbound lanes. The semi traveled in front of a car driven by 24-year-old Bobby Green of Louisville, Kentucky. Helton's semi rolled onto the passenger side and came to rest in the median. Green's car swerved off into the median to avoid striking the semi.

Helton was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Green was not injured.

Arrest information is pending.
