A program that helps care for Illinois' elderly and disabled is nearly out of cash.

The agency that oversees home healthcare providers said last week its funding will run completely out by the end of this week.  The program allows 80,000 elderly and disabled people in Illinois to live at home.

Governor Quinn said many Illinois social services are being lost because of payments made to the state pension system.
