Altamont School Board Acts on Several Items for Coming School Year

Altamont school board members have approved a back to the classroom plan for the coming school year, and also approved an intergovernmental agreement with Chestnut Health Cares System to provide distance learning for just under $10,000.

The Board approved a chromebook replacement and hot spots for up to $116,000, and the purchase of smart panel updates for just under $35,000.

Altamont board members approved the employment of Morgan Hall as a high school Spanish teacher; approved the resignation of Sarah Zuber as a teacher's aide; hired Berly DeSedas as a teacher's aide; approved employment of Kara LaMar and Jessica Wolfert as teacher's aides; approved the resignation of Jordan Lucas; approved a firewall update; approved Benton White as a volunteer junior high baseball coach; approved the early graduation request of Adrianna Harris; aproved the co-op agreement with Brownstown and St. Elmo in golf; and approved the employment of Sadie Bueker as 7th grade girls basketball coach.
