Two Injured in Crash of Two SUVs in Cumberland County

Two people were injured when two SUVs collided in Cumberland County.

The crash happened at 10:07pm Friday on Illinois Route 121 at County Road 1350 East. State police report 20-year-old Dylan Ealy of Toledo was westbound on the highway when his vehicle ran off the roadway to the right. Ealy overcorrected and the vehicle crossed the center line and collided with the vehicle driven by 38-year-old Eric Honselman of Casey.

A passenger in each vehicle suffered injuries; 18-year-old Dane Ealy of Toledo in the Ealy vehicle, and a nine-year-old boy from Casey in the Honselman vehicle. Both of the injured were taken for treatment.

Dylan Ealy was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid the crash and for improper lane usage.
