As Prairie View Subdivision continues to grow, the need for stop signs is growing.

Teutopolis Village Board members discussed the matter at their recent meeting. The need for stop signs is particularly growing on cross streets in the residential subdivision in the southeast part of the village.

Board members also voted to grant 3% pay raises to village employees. The raises are retroactive to the start of the village's fiscal year on May 1.

The Board also learned that ditch cleanup along the CSX Railroad right-of-way is to begin late this month.
