Big Turnout Today for Reopening of DMV

Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White picked today for the reopening of his offices throughout downstate, and people were waiting.

Reports from listeners that customers were waiting at 7am for the 8am opening of the Effingham office. The line stretched out the door, down along the front of the building and on east along the south side.

The office is open today for first-time drivers to get their licenses, those who need to get their license renewed, and for vehicle transactions.
