Two More Deaths of Charleston Rehab Residents

Two more residents of Charleston Rehab and Healthcare with COVID-19 have died.

Coles County Health Department Sunday also was notified of 19 additional positive COVID-19 cases. That brings the total of positive cases in Coles County to 119. Eight are currently hospitalized, 37 have recovered, nine have died, and 65 are recovering.

73 of the confirmed cases in Coles County are associated with Charleston Rehab and Healthcare, including residents and employees.

Statewide, the Illinois Department of Public Health Sunday reported 2,506 new cases of COVID-19, and 67 additional deaths. 59 of those deaths are from Cook County.

Almost 26,000 tests have been reported statewide in the 24-hour period ending at 2pm Sunday.

The statewide seven-day rolling positivity rate is 12%.
