St. Elmo school board members this week approved lettering on new attire used in extra-curricular activities.

The change is effective with the 2013-2014 school year when the Brownstown and St. Elmo districts consolidate their extra-curricular programs.  All extra-curricular activities hosted by the Brownstown School District will be titled as "BSE" on new attire, and recognized as Brownstown/St. Elmo Bombers.  Any activities hosted by St. Elmo will be titled as "SEB" on new attire and recognized as St. Elmo/Brownstown Eagles.

Also at this week's meeting, the St. Elmo board approved high school graduation date for May 18 at 7pm and 8th Grade Recognition Night for May 3 at 6:30pm; and approved a retirement resignation from Mary Jane Mattix as of the end of the current school year.
